# How to configure the Return Portal & Email Settings in TryBee?

### Settings – Return Portal & Email Configuration

The Settings section within **TryBee** provides essential **configuration controls** for your **return portal** and **customer communication workflow**. This area allows you to manage how customers interact with their **trial orders** and how they are notified throughout the **trial lifecycle.**

### 1. Return Portal Link

Within the **Settings tab**, you will find the **Return Portal Link** field.

#### Default Return Portal

**TryBee** automatically generates a secure **return portal link** **connected** to your **Shopify store**. This portal serves as a dedicated space where customers can manage their **Try Before You Buy orders.**

#### Custom Return Portal Link

If you prefer to use your **own return management system,** you may replace the default link with a **custom return portal URL**. This flexibility ensures seamless integration with your **existing workflows** or **branded return pages**.

### 2. Customer Return Portal Experience

When customers **visit** the **return portal link:**

1. They enter their **Order Number.**
2. The system retrieves their **trial order details.**

This self-service experience enhances **transparency**, reduces support inquiries, and creates a **frictionless post-delivery journey.**

### 3. Email Notification Settings

The **Email Settings** section allows you to control which **automated emails** are sent to customers during their **trial journey.**

You can **enable or disable** notifications by simply checking or unchecking the corresponding options.

#### Available Email Notifications

* **TryBee Order Confirmation** (Recommended)\
  Sent when a customer places a Try Before You Buy order.
* **Trial Started (Recommended)**\
  Triggered once the order is delivered and the trial period begins.
* **Trial Almost Done**\
  Sent 24 hours before the trial period expires to remind customers to take action.
* **Trial Ended**\
  Notifies customers when their trial period has officially concluded.
* **Payment Processed & Order Completed (Recommended)**\
  Sent once payment has been successfully captured, whether automatically at the deadline or manually from the order details page.
